La cantante y compositora islandesa Bjork, no sólo tiene en su currículo algunos de los discos más vanguardistas y experimentales de la música contemporánea.
Ganadora de una Palma de Oro como Mejor actriz (2000) en el Festival de Cannes y del premio Polar (2010), considerado el ‘Nobel’ de la música, siempre ha ido más allá para romper todos los esquemas y paradigmas y su más reciente espectáculo Cornucopia, lo avala.

Este es el diseño de concierto más elaborado hasta el momento, donde lo acústico y lo digital se darán la mano, con el apoyo de un equipo de colaboradores seleccionados a la medida.
Explicó Bjork sobre este nuevo proyecto que no sólo se compone de las canciones de sus discos, sino que incorpora muchos elementos teatrales y recursos tecnológicos como sonido inmersivo 360°. Ella lo ha descrito como un «teatro digital, o un concierto de ciencia ficción pop».
Después de presentarse exitosamente en distintas ciudades alrededor del mundo, Cornucopia será presentado en nuestro país el próximo mes de agosto en el Parque Bicentenario.
Todo el espectáculo es sobre las mujeres que se apoyan entre sí. ‘Cornucopia’ es probablemente el show más expansivo que tendré … es un esfuerzo por encontrar un equilibrio entre todas las áreas. Y una manera de que el amor esté presente.
